What is this “HIIT” workout?

Checkout the newest Longmont HIIT classes at Roundhouse Fitness! High Intensity Interval Training is the most popular AND effective form of cardio exercise classes out there. It is so effective because you are training your body to maintain a HIGH INTENSITY exercise level throughout your exercise period, with minimal to no breaks. If you have tried a HIIT treadmill workout, or played around with a HIIT interval training app on your phone, you may know what to expect. When interval training is done correctly, your body burns MANY more calories than it normally would during a slower paced workout. Your endurance levels improve quickly as your body adjusts to working at a high intensity level, and you notice a change quickly in how much more you are able to do in your daily life!

At Roundhouse Fitness, you can expect 15 minutes of HIIT exercises at the beginning of every class. Our HIIT routines are always changing, sometimes you may be doing short bursts of exercise in your HIIT cardio workout, sometimes you may have a circuit in your HIIT program. Some days the warmup could be a Tabata based HIIT workout plan. We like to keep our members guessing, so they never know what to expect when they walk in the door. Don’t let HIIT cardio workouts intimidate you, we can modify our HIIT exercises to meet the needs of any member, at all fitness level.

Our kickboxing trainers goals are to start at a level that works for anyone, working up to the more challenging HIIT exercises once they are able to. HIIT cardio works for everyone, and we believe Roundhouse Fitness offers the BEST HIIT workout in Longmont! HIIT classes for women, men, old or young are the most effective exercise classes out there. High intensity training workouts are the way to go, both for time management and for the results you see.
