Bill Gates has 24 hours in a day. Oprah Winfrey has 24 hours in a day. You have 24 hours in a day. How is it that they are able to accomplish so much but you can’t?? You can say that they have assistants to do stuff for them etc. but they were not born with assistants. In order for them to get to where they are, they had to prioritize and eliminate the things that don’t matter. This is how you find time to workout. You must prioritize.

The world has this weird idea that in order to be successful at anything we have to be busy. That is NOT true. Busy is the new lazy. Take a look at the things you do in your day. How many of them could you go without? How many of them are not necessary to achieve your end goal?? How much of it is busy work??? Being “busy” is a great excuse to not do the things that are most important. Things that are important are usually uncomfortable which is why we create “busy work” so we can avoid doing the important things. You need to figure out what is important to you and what is not. The things that are not important to your end goal you need to get rid of for good and the things that are most important you need to move up the list of your priorities.

Fitness should be one of those things that is important. Try to realize that the 1 hour you spend scrolling through your facebook news feed or the 1 hour you spend watching the office on netflix is not important to your end goal. Instead spend that time on your health and wellness. Enough with the “busy work” that makes you feel productive but is really just there for you to distract yourself from the real important things. Your time is worth more than busy work.
